PSU can plan around new furniture, an available used inventory, existing furniture you are keeping or a combination. The selected system and actual room dimensions determine what fits.

Share a CAD file or floor plan if available. We can work with building management to locate drawings, or start with photos and a few measurements.

Provide workstation count, private-office and meeting-room needs, storage requirements and anticipated changes.

Include location, budget expectations, target date and any furniture you want to keep or replace.
From a first layout to an approved furniture plan
- Review the requirements: room dimensions, headcount, work styles and existing furniture.
- Compare configurations: desk footprints, panel heights, circulation, storage and power/data locations.
- Refine the selection: align the layout with available inventory or selected new products and finishes.
- Confirm the plan and scope: agree on furniture, delivery, installation and responsibilities before scheduling.
Drawings help communicate the furniture plan. Required building approvals, code review, permits and electrical/data work should be confirmed with the appropriate building professionals for your project.
Planning fees and measurements
Is furniture space planning complimentary?
Yes, with a furniture project. Design-only work and substantial reconfigurations can carry charges, which should be confirmed before that work begins.
Do you need to visit our office?
Often a CAD file, photos and a few measurements are enough. Local site measurements are free when needed. Outside the area, PSU can arrange a local installation team to measure; charges may apply.
Can you plan around furniture we already own?
Share photos, dimensions and system labels. We will review the layout and compatibility before proposing reused pieces, additions or replacement furniture.
